I'm a relative novice smoker , I've smoked for a while but am just now at the stage where I'm buying and storing cigars as well as smoking them as opposed to just "buy-smoke-repeat". What to say about the Punch Coronations? Visually this isn't an enormous cigar but it's certainly perfectly formed. While not having experienced a full range of different draws yet, I found this a very easy cigar to smoke. On lighting, the thick, white smoke billowed and almost filled the room on the first draw, the burn was even from end to end and the cigar didn't need relighting or any mid-smoke maintenance. The flavour started off quite mild, with almost a taste of how leather smells (if that makes sense), earthy and satisfying without being overpowering. Within about the first 1/3 of the cigar the flavour developed and I could pick up coffee notes with a not-too-spicy element which caught my palette with a bit of the sensation you'd experience after eating a lot of chocolate, dry yet somehow moist at the same time, but again - not unpleasant.
