Super tight draw, minimal smoke. I know they are cheap but theyre not even worth the asking price. Really bad burn as well, far too many construction issues. Will not be purchasing after receiving in a sampler.

Had one of these in the lounge at Liverpool this morning, recommended by David who was very helpful . Delightful smoke, good draw and even burn. Chocolate and spice with a hint of fruit was perfect with a strong latte. As soon as I had finished my smoke, went back to the humidor to buy a handful to take home with me and having another on the sunbed on the patio at home right now....this is how all Saturdays afternoons should be.

If someone said I could only smoke this particular cigar for the rest of my life I wouldnt be disappointed. Taste: first third was woody cedar and very pleasant, then it developed a sweetness in the middle that grew towards the end. Peppery after taste. Draw and burn: draw was no problem and the burn was relatively even but occasionally needed correcting (but that could be my dodgy lighting) Time: Took me over an hour to get through but then Im normally pipe smoker so I tend to smoke cigars deliberately slower Price: very reasonable. Ive spent a lot more for much worse cigars. Strength: very mild nicotine hit that you only really notice towards the end Really very difficult to find anything wrong with this cigar, it wont disappoint.

The cigars by which I benchmark all others. Ive smoked probably 50 or so of these, in the 11 months Ive been a proper cigar smoker. Ive only ever had 2 bad ones. Lovely spicy, rich flavour and strength, perfect for all occasions. I love em! written by David M Smith

I had read the other reviews for the Gurkha Ghost Shadow and was intrigued enough to add one to my last order. This cigar was well packed with a good draw and even burn throughout, although I did find I needed to relight a couple of times. There is an unmistakable dark, earthy taste to the Gurkha which makes it distinctive, and certainly you get clouds of smoke from this beast.
