I needed a jet lighter for outside when walking the dog, camping etc... had to be something cheap, cheerful & not upsetting if lost, so was happy to see that Colibri made exactly what i was looking for & being a fan of colibri products anyway, i bought 2 of these in clear and orange as the price was surprisingly low for Colibri.
When they came, i was shocked at how nice the presentation box was, first impressions = excellent.
Opened and pulled out the lighter, again, shocked at how heavy and well made these lighters were, so filled one up with purified butane straight away and put it to the test, took the hound out and lit up a nice cuban, it was blowing a gale outside and i was in the middle of a field, but my stogie lit first time with this little impressive lighter. Never failed on any relights either.
Fits nicely in the pocket, also fits into a cigarette case or packet quite nicely, nice big open fuel gauge window, big gas tank so it should last a time.
And the build quality is excellent, nice and solid, no horrible plastic feel to it at all, lights with a sturdy click from the side slider., very handy, keeps your thumb away from that virtually invisible jet flame.
The adjuster works well, nice and big and doesnt protude from the bottom so you can stand it up.
Height of the flame at max setting is more then adequate.
Overall verdict? so impressed for the price, i might just buy the whole coloured range now.
