Cigar Reviews
Lovely mild, almost Cuban-like flavours. If you like mild cigars you'd need to go a whole long way to better this one. 1st class burn and construction. Can't be faulted. Perfect for a summer's afternoon if you don't fancy anything too heavy.
Mild, yes, but good with a glass of cola, or even a cup of tea (yup, tea.) Don't expect too much and you'll not be disappointed, but personally I love to have a few of these floating around when I fancy an easy smoke without the burden of having to think about it too much. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I imagine these have quite a closet fan base...
I was impressed with this cigar. Not part of my CGars order I bought this at Alfie Turmeaus in Mayfair and have to say another Inka that is pretty good.
A nicely constructed cigar, the wrapper being a near perfect rich dark colour. Lit nicely and full on flavour straight from the start, and lots of smoke. The draw was good considering how much tobacco must be in the stick and I agree with a previous comment it took longer to smoke that I expected; that is a definite bonus, lots of good tobacco and lots of time to smoke!! The burn was a bit uneven around an inch in but nothing to get upset with. Unlike the robustos this didn't go down to the last inch before it became time to put it down.
All in all a good cigar and another success for your Inkas and I can't wait to try the Rojo Red version I bought at the same time!
An interesting smoke, it doesn't really do anything wrong, but then it doesn't really do anything outstanding either. I liked it, don't get me wrong, I'm just not sure it has enough of an impact with so much in the way of fierce competition around. Give it a whirl, but don't expect anything that will stay with you for years to come...
Just like the Puck they're very easy to use - simply hydrate the beads every now and again and they release / absorb humidity as required to maintain an average of 70%.
I've used them to humidify an old tea chest (one pack does 5 cubic feet!) that I've converted into a humidor to hold my excess (or to quote my wife - "excessive") boxes of cigars that can't quite fit into my main humidors. I can't recommend these enough and the fact cgars are now stocking the large 16oz canisters as well as the Puck 50/100 just makes them even better !!
