Hugo humidor instructions

Firstly, remove all packaging and materials from the humidor and ensure that it is clean and dry. Next, take a new sponge or cloth and dampen it with distilled water. Wipe down the interior walls, trays and bottom of the humidor with the damp cloth, making sure to avoid any metal parts.

Once the interior is damp, place a small dish of distilled water in the bottom of the humidor and close the lid. Leave the humidor to sit for a minimum of 24 hours to allow the wood to absorb the moisture. After 24 hours, check the humidity level with a hygrometer and repeat the process until the humidity level reaches between 65-70%.

It is important to note that the seasoning process may take up to a week, depending on the size and type of humidor. Once the humidor is properly seasoned, you can begin to add your cigars. Make sure to monitor the humidity level regularly and add distilled water as necessary to maintain the optimal humidity level.
