Maintaining the correct humidity level in your humidor is crucial for preserving the quality of your cigars. If you find that the humidity level in your humidor is too high, there are several steps you can take to address the issue:

1、Open the lid - One of the first things you can do is to open the humidor and let some of the excess moisture escape. Leave the lid open for a few hours or until the humidity level reaches the desired level.

2、Remove excess humidification devices - If you have multiple humidification devices in your humidor, remove one or more of them to reduce the overall humidity level. You may also want to consider using a less powerful humidification device.

3、Dry out the humidification device - If you're using a humidification device like a sponge or gel pack, it may be too moist. Remove the device and let it dry out for a few hours before placing it back in the humidor.

4、Add some dry cigars - Dry cigars can help absorb excess moisture in your humidor. If you have some cigars that are slightly dry, add them to your humidor to help balance the humidity level.

5、Use a dehumidifier - If the above methods do not work, you may want to consider using a dehumidifier to lower the humidity level in your humidor. There are several different types of dehumidifiers available, including electric, rechargeable, and silica gel.

It's important to note that sudden changes in humidity can also damage your cigars. It's best to make gradual adjustments to the humidity level over time and monitor the humidity level regularly to ensure it stays within the optimal range for your cigars.
